Un jour de pluie et de grand vent, Aizawa a eu le coup de foudre pour Rin, son voisin. Par chance, ils sont tous les deux dans la même université, ce qui arrange fortement Aizawa qui meurt d’envie de se rapprocher de Rin. Mais l’homme duquel il est tombé éperdument amoureux n’est pas du genre à facilement se lier d’amitié avec un inconnu. Il est même tout le contraire, avec son regard noir, il est ronchon et caractériel. Cela ne va en aucun cas changer les sentiments d’Aizawa et celui-ci va tout faire pour que Rin le remarque et apprenne à sourire.
Deux personnages aux caractères opposé l’un à l’autre vont vous montrer que l’amour peut naître dans la vie de n’importe quel être. Le titre ainsi que la couverture résument très bien l’histoire de ce couple hors du commun semblant vivre en hors du temps. En réalité ce manga est le spin-off d’Hybrid Stardust mettant en lumière Rin, le grand frère de Kiyoto, et son amant Aizawa, qui n’est autre que son secrétaire. Les auteures, écrivant sous le même nom d’Unohana, sont adeptes des gros plans sur les visages de leurs protagonistes, elles les dessinent sous tous les profils et expressions possibles. Cela renforce le scénario qui est essentiellement basé sur leurs relations et les sentiments qu’ils éprouvent.
Seule une personne malheureuse ne peut trouver le sourire. Mais lorsqu’elle croise la route de quelqu’un qui profite de la vie avec joie, tout peut être chamboulé.
