L’heure des Jeux Olympiques a sonné, Erwann a choisi de représenter la Grande-Bretagne pour concourir à l’épreuve du skate-board. Sa petite amie, Megan, elle, représente le Canada, et chacun y a des ambitions. Si le talent est là, suffira-t-il à résister à la pression générale ? La compétition et son résultat sont-ils vraiment le plus important à tirer de cette expérience sportive ?
Voici le quatrième et dernier opus de cette série qui a vu l’ascension du jeune héros vers son rêve olympique. Cette aventure sportive se veut authentique dans le sens où rien n’est épargné au jeune skateur, entre les difficultés de son sport, les doutes qui en découlent, la pression des sponsors, les blessures, tout y est. Il n’est ainsi pas compliqué de s’attacher au personnage d’Erwann et à son parcours, ce qui est rendu possible tant par le déroulement de l’histoire que par sa représentation graphique. Le travail de Cédric Mayen et Yann Cozic est en parfaite symbiose, ce qui joue forcément dans le résultat final, on ne peut plus agréable à lire. Les deux auteurs ont entouré Erwann de personnages secondaires qui apportent une petite touche indispensable pour permettre au récit d’être réussi.
